We are pleased to inform you that we have implemented a new version on the production environment, currently available to all users (1.8.18). This version contains new functionalities requested by users during trainings and platform testing.
1. e-mail notification module - automatically sends information on the progress of events, key activities and changes in statuses throughout the train reporting and operation process in which your company participates. Currently, it is no longer necessary to log in to the platform at all times to follow further events on the computer screen. Information on the progress of works will be sent to the e-mail address. The notification module may be personalised according to the needs of each and every user. The user can decide on his / her own what notification he / she wants to receive and what not.
Four categories of notifications appear on the platform after entering the account options of each user: “train”, “confirmation of loading”, “wagon group” and “deliveries/pick-ups”. Each of these groups may be included or excluded at any time. Activation starts sending the entire package of notifications connected to this area. This is a number of different messages. Sending a message may be stopped by cancelling this option.
2. BCT Service Plan - is found in the main menu on the left. Once called, it shows the current train/wagon group service plan for a given day, planned service hours and the actual start and end hours of the operation and their operating status. The plan is ordered according to the planned dates/times of commencement of transhipment operations to BCT. In addition, it shows in which delivery/pick-up wagons enter and leave the BCT. This view summarises many of the data contained in the different platform modules and is therefore very helpful in the rapid orientation of the train service status on the BCT.
3. view of tracks - is also included in the main menu (on the left). After pressing it, a view of the setting of wagons on the BCT track at a given moment is generated, indicating their status and the last and/or subsequent planned operation. This view also allows for quick orientation for shunting carriers and wagon owners in terms of which rolling stock is currently available on BCT tracks and how efficiently it can be managed.
4. automatic building of deliveries/pick-ups - this is an easement and abbreviation created for shunting carriers. By means of one button, it is easy to build a pick-up in the reverse relation. It consists in automatically creating traffic in the opposite direction with the same wagons assigned. This functionality significantly simplifies the operation of the platform for shuttles.
