VGM (Verified Gross Mass) - a mandatory information on container weight, provided by the shipowner and resulting from the SOLAS Convention, without which it is impossible to load a container onto a ship at the BCT.
The BCT terminal provides a 24-hour weighing service using the I method, by means of a calibrated scale that meets Class III accuracy requirements. The rendered service is confirmed by a weighing receipt sent to the e-mail address of the ordering party. The cost of the service complies with the currently applicable BCT tariff.
